Net Neutrality and Its Market Impact
Internet makes it possible for us to learn something new each day. Nowadays, with everyone connected online, the internet helps to create fairness among people. Here we can get the information and services that play a role in our schooling, social connections, well-being, economic system and more. All internet traffic should be managed as the same, no matter what it is or where it comes from. No one should have to pay or receive restrictions from internet operators or official organizations to use information found online. Shattering this restriction may mean some services are not reachable which allows a few companies to get a monopoly by either donating to them or blocking access.
Net neutrality helps new products, websites and content reach users fairly, without having to pay extra to internet service providers for priority. Net neutrality prevents service providers from favoring large companies, which could otherwise create monopolies and alter the way consumers are treated. A clear example of a net neutrality violation occurred when Netflix clashed with the operator Telefónica in Spain. It was removing bandwidth meant for Netflix’s streaming service so that its video service could work faster. Netflix, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and other companies grew big and fast because of net neutrality.
What is Net Neutrality?

Thus, if it were absent, providers could decide how much access users can have to different websites and possibly obstruct some services. Net neutrality is a main principle on the internet that lets all online content reach users without discrimination. These rules prevent internet service providers (ISPs) from singling out users and service providers in any way. Net neutrality assures that small organizations and big companies can equally connect with people, since information has become so important in today’s world.
It helps keep the Internet open and democratic, promoting diverse and rich content rather than allowing a concentration of power in the hands of a few. Net neutrality is the same as a road where all vehicles, regardless of their size or the place they are going, can travel just as fast and next to each other. It means that all websites, applications or online services on the Internet should have the same rights and not face favoritism. Users can open many websites and use various services because there are no restrictions with information exchange.
Net neutrality for broadband and wireless internet providers

Basically, it ensures there is equality online so all voices are treated equally. Net neutrality keeps the Internet from becoming a place where some people have more advantages than others. It allows users to promote all kinds of content and services without paying additional fees to Internet providers. Save the Internet emphasizes that if net neutrality disappears, future innovators like the next Google will face significant challenges in launching their platforms. For more than ten years, dozens of countries have introduced net neutrality rules, but it is not true everywhere. Net neutrality serves to maintain an Internet where none of our data gets priority over others.
In other words, this approach assures that everyone, including businesses, can use and share the internet freely. Sometimes exceptions to net neutrality involve things like needed improvements and emergency communications. For a better example, we could think of a similar situation. Visualize the internet as a city with roads connecting all the different neighborhoods, building and parks. Net neutrality ensures that all users of the roads—such as bicycles, motorcycles, cars, and trucks—receive equal treatment. In a digital city, it could mean controlling the way data flows to avoid jams during rush hours and make sure everything reaches its destination easily.
How Net Neutrality Impacts Business

Just as drivers must follow traffic signals, ISPs regulate the flow of data on a network to ensure smooth operation. In the event of an emergency, emergency services may bypass regular traffic to reach the destination promptly. Also, emergency calls and other fast response services on the Internet might need priority routes to make sure they reach the closest emergency sites in time. Since the 1970s, the use of information and communications technologies (ICTs) played a key role in escaping the problems caused by welfarist societies, along with the effects.
Of globalization and neoliberal ideas on planning and guiding social, economic and cultural matters. Thanks to this orientation, paired with neoliberalism, digital tools and globalization, there has been a major boost in finance sector involvement (Gendler, 2016). This has become part of multiple processes, organizations, rules and challenges. In 1989, the document outlining a hypertext system called the World Wide Web (www or Web) was produced. Because of this protocol, network users could collaborate on large scales and everyone.
